My son for Barbie,my daughter for the Batman; anything wrong?

They are twins of 3.5 yrs of age. Seldom does my son like the toy-trucks or bulldozers, whereas, my daughter does prefer spider-man or batman attires. As parents we are very concerned. Should we consult with an expert?
