OH No I allowed my daughter to have her pacifier for way to long. 1 1/2 years. How do I wean her?

My daughter is 1 1/2 and she still uses a paci. We let her have it because we had to take long trips and we moved to a new state. We thought maybe we should just take it under the cirstances. Well now, it is time to take it. She is 1 1/2 and this is our home and she is more comfortable. Any tips, stories or suggestions?
