Renting a snowboard or buying one?

im pretty new to snowboard for a few mounths now and it is 50 bucks everytime i rent one and the one i want to get is 150$. i go like 3 - 4 times a year. should i buy one or keep renting and what is a good snowboard for beginners and a good site thats not that expensive
