What is creme patisserie?!?

I have found some lovely strawberry tarts and I wanted to make some, I have strawberries, and the base but it says you need creme patisserie. I have looked in Sainsburys and Tescos but I can't find it anywhere! I was just wondering if I can buy it or if it is made from something else. Thank you very much!!!
